Welcome to my blog!

It has panned out that this blog is really about me and my beautiful punk horse Teddy (AKA Future Freddy) and by goofy clydie Gran (AKA Aztec Griffon).

I have returned to horses after having a pony as a teenager. Many years have lapsed - way too many years - and a lot has changed in my world and the horse world.

As a kid we got our horses and worked it all out for ourselves. We did it with love and a lot of guts and things worked out well. That love and guts is still in me and I want to take what I have naturally within and enter this next phase learning some true horsemanship.

I was never an accomplished rider, preferring to be with my horse a lot of the time and not having to bolt around the paddocks. But now it is important to me that I relearn the ride as well. My goal is to be good in all areas of horsemanship and that it is all about me and my love for my horse and horses in general.

The fact that Teddy is such a punk is making this all a very interesting challenge.
